MailBox Story is a paced story delivered through real mail.
Because timing is part of the experience, our policies simply keep expectations clear and fair for every household.
Trying MailBox Story
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first chapter's mail date, whether you're on the monthly or yearly plan.
This gives you a chance to see the format, pacing, and presentation and decide whether it fits your household.
After that window, the story is considered underway. Chapters already mailed are not refundable, but you may stop future mailings at any time.
Stopping Future Mailings
You can stop future mailings whenever you wish, on either plan.
Once you stop, no additional chapters will be prepared or billed.
Chapters already mailed or prepared are not refundable.
Monthly and yearly plans follow the same rules for stopping — the difference is refund eligibility. Both plans are refundable only within the 14-day window after your first chapter mails. After that, you can still stop at any time, but no refund is issued for the yearly plan's remaining balance or for chapters already mailed on either plan.
Shipping Rhythm
Chapters are mailed on a steady schedule so the story unfolds over time.
Your chapters will mail out every other week on Monday.
We don't rush shipments or bundle chapters together — the waiting is part of the experience.
Delivery typically takes 3–7 days after mailing depending on the postal service.
Address Changes
Mail is sent to the address on file at the time of mailing.
If you update your address before the next mailing date, we'll send to the new address at no extra charge.
If a chapter is mailed to an outdated address because we weren't notified in time, we can resend it for $5.00.
Missing or Damaged Chapters
If a chapter doesn't arrive or arrives damaged, contact us within 30 days of the mailing date.
Your first replacement is on us — free of charge. This is rare, and if it happens again, we'll work it out with you directly.
After 30 days, chapters are treated as back issues.
Back Issues
Older chapters remain available as back issues for $5.00 each.
Because they recreate past installments rather than replace a recent mailing, they are priced higher than a replacement for a chapter that never arrived.
This keeps the experience fair for families who keep pace while still allowing anyone to reconnect the timeline.
